Chroma Key, Geelong

May 20, 2016

This months Very Fast Break utilised our green screen and our exciting brand new studio.

The Very Fast Break is a four to six weekly update that The Tribe produces for Agriculture Victoria to provide long-term weather forecasts for farmers. Now this involves a fair bit of science, which can be a little confusing – just like our weather! But we try to communicate it in a way that’s fun and easy for busy farmers to understand, but also detailed enough, with more complex information, so that they can make decisions around their harvest, crops and livestock.

And in the spirit of Professor Sumner Miller, we try to finish each package with an analogy to help people understand the theory behind the science, or where we think the forecasts are taking us.

For this month, we took advantage of our ChromaKey background, putting Dale Grey, our Agronomist, in all sorts of situations, including in front of a cartoon version of a city landscape, out in the country and balancing on a fence post, all to illustrate a point. We don’t see any reason why science can’t be fun! And it’s all for the benefit of communicating a message.

If you want to talk to us about utilising this sort of technology to communicate your message, please contact us here. We look forward to talking to you and make sure you check out the video below.
