Video In a Hurry, Geelong

June 11, 2016

In our last blog Fast Video Production, we talked about working to a tight schedule to get the client what they need and to get it to them in a hurry. We’re very proud of our work and even when working to such a tight deadline, give it our all for our clients.

One of our favourites, the Bendigo Bank, is involved in a number of wonderful community support projects – a prime example being the work we do with Geelong Connected Communities, a community owned company. But a more recent established example is the Greenlight Program, a youth driver education program which is also part funded by Bendigo Bank’s insurance partner CGU.

Recently, Bendigo Bank in partnership with CGU, sponsored the President’s Lunch Game Day at Simonds Stadium, during round 7 of the Geelong Cats VS West Coast Eagles game. And they wanted Greenlight to receive the accolades as their support project on the day.

What’s this got to do with us? We’ll get to that soon!

Some time before the big day, they organised with the cats media department to capture some footage with players, explaining about the Greenlight Program, which would then form a video package that would be played on the day. However, once it was sent to the media department at the bank head office, problems were discovered which meant they couldn’t finish editing the package and in turn meant no video on game day.

A quick phone call to us and some creative thinking meant we were able to solve the problem with the footage and provide a solution, putting together a video with only a couple of days to spare and sending it off to Cats TV for use at the President’s Lunch.

So our extensive experience positioned us well to be able to jump in at the last minute and get the job done. We were more than happy to help and even happier to be able to attend the luncheon.

So if you need help with video, in bit of a bind or if you’ve got a project you want to start from scratch, please talk to us.
