The Tribe Welcomes the Next Generation to Footscray

April 8, 2026

As we settle into our Footscray office, we’re also excited to introduce a new face at The Tribe—Harrison.

Harrison represents the next generation of film industry professionals, and he’s bringing fresh energy to our work in Footscray. What makes this especially meaningful is that he genuinely loves the area.

“Footscray feels alive,” he says. “It’s incredibly diverse, and there’s this strong network of small businesses—especially in trades and labour—that keep everything moving.”
He’s particularly excited about the council’s current push to elevate arts visibility in the area. With more galleries, public displays, and support for local artists, Harrison sees real opportunity for video to play a role in amplifying creative voices. “It’s a really good time to be in local media here,” he says.

Footscray’s alternative and underground culture also resonates with him. The live music venues, street art, thrift fashion, and community gardens all speak to a neighbourhood that values authenticity. Even the rhythm of the central district—with its lively nightlife and quieter daytime trade—tells a story about how the suburb lives and breathes.

At The Tribe, we believe experience matters—but so does fresh perspective. Harrison brings both curiosity and care to every project, whether it’s profiling a local tradie, documenting an artist’s work, or helping a business connect with its audience online.

We’re grateful to be part of Footscray’s evolving story, and even more grateful to have passionate young filmmakers like Harrison helping us tell it.
